Established in 1975 and acquired by Al-Hazaa Investment Group in 2005, Al-Mahatta New Mill Company has since been fully modernized and equipped with the latest milling technology from Buhler Group. Located in Al-Mahatta, Amman, the mill boasts a production capacity of 500 tons of wheat flour per day and a grain storage capacity of 10,000 tons. In addition, the company operates dedicated warehouses with a total storage capacity of 3,000 tonnes.
Al-Mahatta New Mill Company operates as part of the Group’s integrated milling network, benefiting from shared access to advanced quality control laboratories, packaging facilities, and research and development centers. This integration ensures consistent product quality and operational efficiency.

What sets the company apart is its use of an extended milling system, which results in softer flour with enhanced water absorption during kneading — a key advantage for bakeries.
All-purpose flour: Used for making all types of bread in automatic and traditional bakeries. The ash percentage in this type varies between 0.65% and 0.7%.
Zero flour: This is used for baking high-quality pastries, pizza, burger buns, and other kinds of bread. The ash percentage in this type ranges between 0.5% and 0.55%.
Zahrah flour: Used for preparing all types of high-quality cakes and sweets. The ash percentage in this type varies between 0.25% and 0.35%.
Coarse and fine semolina.
Fine bran: Used for making high-fiber bread.
Bran: Used as animal feed.
Distribution:
Al-Mahatta New Mill Company holds a significant share of the local flour market. Its strategic location in central Amman also reduces transportation costs, especially for bakeries operating within the city. To ensure efficient distribution across Amman and other governorates, the company operates its own fleet of delivery trucks and works closely with a wide network of local distributors.
In addition, the company has established a dedicated export division to manage the shipment of its high-quality flour products to neighboring countries.
